Top 10 New Stories of 2024

A number of Elmhurst University news stories—about student achievements, campus events, even the sun and (music) stars—struck a chord with readers in 2024.

The subjects were varied. One student won the chance to study in Scotland, and more than 800 others celebrated their graduation from Elmhurst. The campus got ready for a total eclipse of the sun, and also became the center of cycling for a day. Compelling speakers, including a renowned historian, a Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer and a Chicago broadcasting legend (and revered Elmhurst alumna) came to campus. And that’s just the beginning.
