Men On Boats

Imagine a play focused on the expeditions wrapped up in the mapping and “discovery” of the Colorado River. Imagining a bunch of white dudes? Playwright Jacklyn Backhaus challenges us to see those people and explorer-claimed discoveries through the performance lens of a cast of female, non-binary and BIPOC actors. Also included? River rapids, on boats.
