Grants
Elmhurst University offers a number of grants to qualified students. Details on current grant programs are available upon request and are included in the ELSA program guide. Request more information about the ELSA program and you will receive the ELSA program guide as a PDF.
Federal Student Financial Aid
Certain types of federal financial aid are now available to students: Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and federal work-study. Because these programs address the needs of low-income students, not all students will qualify. Students need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year so that eligibility can be determined. To apply for federal student aid, please complete the FAFSA application. The Elmhurst University code is 001676. In addition, you can learn more about federal financial aid options available to students with intellectual disabilities. Federal loans are not available for students enrolled in the ELSA program.
We encourage students and their families to seek out additional sources of funding as well, such as corporations, local businesses, private scholarship opportunities, vocational rehabilitation agencies and churches.
