Financial Aid Resources for Graduating Students
Congratulations! You graduated. So, now what?
From paying off student loans to planning for the future, there is a lot to consider when it comes to your finances. Use this page as a resource as you map out your post-college journey. Remember, the College is still here for you even after you finish your degree—ready to help you find success.
Student Loan Exit Counseling
If you borrowed Federal Direct Student Loans, you must complete exit counseling when you leave school or drop below half-time enrollment. The purpose of exit counseling is to ensure you understand your student loan obligations and are prepared for repayment.
You’ll learn about what your federal student loan payments will look like after school. You’ll receive a recommended repayment strategy that best suits your future plans and goals.
Visit the studentaid.gov site to complete this process.
Loan Repayment
Understanding the details of repayment on your federal student loan can save you time and money. Before repayment begins, develop a plan that puts you on track to pay back your loan on time and in full.

Student Account Balance
Be sure to pay off any remaining balance with the school before you graduate. Any remaining balance on your account will prevent Elmhurst from releasing your diploma. Contact SFS at (630) 617-3015 or at [email protected] with any questions about your remaining balance.
Resources for Alumni
