Careers and Outcomes

Elmhurst University Theatre and Dance graduates have found places in various theatre- and dance-related careers and graduate education.

Some of those include:

• Master of Fine Arts programs in acting, in design and technology and more
• High school theatre teachers and directors
• Professional designers, technicians, actors or directors
• Dance program directors
• Professional stage management
• Literary development and dramaturgy
• Leaders within professional arts associations

Students with minors or double majors often find they are able to complement their work in other fields with ongoing creative work in the arts. The graduates who participated in our production seasons continue to engage in creative work in improv comedy, as choreographers, actors and more.
