Diane Salvador, Ph.D., R.N., NEA-BC

Dr. Salvador has more than 35 years of nursing experience, both in practice as a clinician and administrator, and in education as faculty and in administrative positions.

Her service includes various health policy and government liaison positions through the American Nurses Association/Ohio Nurses Association; board of director positions with the Ohio Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau; journal manuscript reviewer; and journal editorial board member. She has extensive research experience focused on health care leadership and finance, and rehabilitative nursing, and has presented at national and international conferences.

A member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society and the American Association of Nurse Executives, she is a Fellow of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Leadership for Academic Nursing and is board certified as a Nurse Executive – Advanced.

Dr. Salvador has a bachelor of science in nursing from Bowling Green State University (Ohio), a master of science in nursing/administration from the Medical College of Ohio, and a Ph.D. in health education and higher education from the University of Toledo (Ohio).
