Thoroughly steeped in Elmhurst’s strong liberal arts tradition, the Department of Education provides excellent resources for content-area and specialized education courses.
All teacher licensure programs are accredited by the State of Illinois. Candidates who complete these approved programs are recommended for Illinois state teacher licensure, which allows them to be legally employed as teachers in Illinois public schools.
