Amanda (Amy) Passmore (she/her) is an assistant professor and serves as the director of graduate programs for the School of Education. Before receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Passmore was a special education teacher and instructional coach. Her research interests include exploring perspectives and systems that support teacher leadership among special education providers, with an emphasis on the context of early childhood education (birth to age 5).
