In addition to your coursework, the program provides three developmental sessions lead by our expert faculty. You will become proficient in excel, fine-tune your master’s-level writing skills, as well learn how to construct and deliver persuasive presentations. These three skillsets will enrich your experience in the classroom and will undoubtedly be used in your career.

Additionally, to make sure you maintain your competitive edge in the workplace, we offer free courses once you graduate!* As a lifelong learner and an alum of the Elmhurst MBA, commit to your professional development by coming back to take courses in management, leadership, innovation and more. This ensures that as you move through your career you are ready to tackle new roles and responsibilities.

*MBA Advantage free course offerings are based on availability. You may take one course per calendar year. Tuition is waived but you will still be responsible for the technology fee. Students who start the program in the 2022 Fall Term or later will be eligible for the free course offerings upon graduation.

Advanced Writing Skills

Professional writing skills are at the center of proficiency in the business world. From communicating via email to drafting contracts or marketing collateral, your time with faculty expert Dr. Eric Sanders will take your communication skills to the next level.

Using Spreadsheets at a Higher Level

Dr. Siaw-Peng Wan has mastered Excel. In his engaging session, you will be amazed how your comfort level and confidence increase using this important business tool. From creating useful pivot charts, sorting data, and leveraging the use of formulas—your productivity is uncapped.

After graduating, you have the opportunity to audit one MBA class per year for free to continue developing yourself as you move through your career.* Continue to gain important leadership and management skills as your career matures and advances.
