Band-Aide for ILMEA
We welcome all high school instrumental music students for a fun and educational day of preparation for the upcoming ILMEA wind and percussion auditions.
You will have the opportunity to work on sight-reading skills with the Elmhurst University Wind Ensemble, hear performances by Elmhurst University music students and faculty, participate in master classes with the Elmhurst University applied music faculty on the ILMEA audition etudes, and gain tips about how to prepare yourself for taking the ILMEA audition. Let us help you prepare for the best audition experience!

Welcome and sight-reading with the Elmhurst University Wind Ensemble

Refreshments and performances by EC music students and EC applied music faculty
2:30–5:00 p.m.
- Master classes with Elmhurst University applied music faculty
- Brass and Percussion in Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel
- Woodwinds escorted to Irion Hall
5:00 p.m.
Conclusion of event and student pick-up
All high school instrumentalists are welcome to participate and should pre-register online.
Parents are welcome to attend 1:00-2:30 PM during the sight-reading and EC student and faculty performances.
