Jazz Festival FAQ
In-Person FAQ
Can I simply attend the Festival in person and not watch the livestream?
Yes! Purchase tickets online, print them to show at the door (or show them on your mobile device), and enjoy the concert in-person. Note: the “Weekend Pass (In-Person)” is a single ticket that you will use throughout the weekend for all sessions (unlike in past years, when purchasing the “Weekend Package” produced a separate ticket for each session).
Livestream FAQ
Can I watch the livestream after the scheduled time?
We encourage you to join together and watch live in real time (and use the built-in chat feature), but if you’re unable (due to global time zone differences), our events will be available to view for 24 hours after the original scheduled time.
What happens after I buy a livestream ticket?
You will receive an email from [email protected] (click here for help finding it in your email account). Near the bottom of this email, you will see a blue “Access My Event” button. Simply click on the button to access the concert(s) for which you purchased ticket(s)!
What if I purchase livestream tickets for people viewing the event(s) in different locations?
In the checkout process, enter each attendee’s information (name & email address). After purchasing, you can still enter this information by clicking the “View/Edit This Order” link found in the confirmation email.
What do I need in order to watch the livestream?
You will need a high-speed internet connection and a device with a web browser. The best way to watch the event is on a larger screen. Many TVs come with Apple AirPlay, SmartCast or Chromecast, which allow you to share your phone or computer screen wirelessly on your television.
If your laptop is equipped with an HDMI output, you can connect your laptop to your TV or preferred AV equipment.
Since there are so many ways you can connect to a TV, we won’t be able to help you troubleshoot your specific setup. Please be sure to research it before the event! Or you can always watch on your laptop, tablet or smartphone.
What are the technical requirements to view the livestream?
We recommend the most up-to-date versions of the Chrome or Firefox web browsers for the best experience. Internet Explorer is not compatible with our stream player. You will need an internet connection with download speeds of at least 5 Mbps. To check your download speed, visit www.speedtest.net.
The video keeps freezing while I’m watching the livestream. What can I do?
Don’t worry. Technology is great when it works. If the video is freezing, try this:
- Refresh the browser page.
- Try using a different browser or device.
- Make sure your internet connection is at least 5 Mbps. To check your download speed, visit www.speedtest.net.
Do you recommend using a certain browser for the livestream?
The livestream should work in any current browser, with the exception of Internet Explorer. We recommend Google Chrome, so give that a try if you’re having issues in your current browser. You can download it here: www.google.com/chrome.
I have tried everything listed above, but it still doesn’t work for me …

Can I watch the livestream on my mobile device?
You sure can!
