Brenda Lualdi
Brenda Lualdi is chair of the voice program at Elmhurst. She has been teaching voice for more than 30 years. Her singing career has included leading roles in operas such as The Marriage of Figaro, Susannah, Gianni Schicchi, Cinderella, and Madama Butterfly. She also has been a featured soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Verdi’s Requiem, Mahler’s Symphony No. 3, and in the premier performance of Monhardt’s Credo. She also has been a frequent art song recitalist. Many of Lualdi’s students have gone on to successful careers as teachers and singers.
