Elmhurst offers both a major and a minor in English. Within the major, students may choose an emphasis in literature or writing, or prepare to teach high school English.
Students majoring in other fields can choose from one of six five-course English minors that send a message of strong writing, critical thinking and communication skills to future employers or to graduate school admission committees.
