2000 CCIW Volleyball Champions The CCIW Volleyball Championships (Nov.2-4) at Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL was swept by our very own Lady Jays Volleyball Squad. They ended their conference record 12-0. Seniors Kim Meyer and Shannon Sobczak were named to the all-tournament team. Meyer had 69 kills, 71 digs and nine service aces throughout the tournament. Sobczak had 59 assists, 25 kills and 12 blocks. The team will travel to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this Thursday, where they will face Lake Forest College at 5:00 p.m. in the first round of the single elimination playoffs. If the Lady Jays win the match against Lake Forest, they will play the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Friday.
